Brendan Perko

Brendan has worked closely with individuals experiencing homelessness for over a decade. His experience comes through years of extensive relationship and community building, outreach service coordination, and as a Property Management Specialist & Project Manager for Puget Sound Energy and Washington State Department of Transportation. Brendan and the team at Commonstreet have developed a multifaceted approach to property management for both private companies and public agencies. These services range anywhere from managing complicated surplus properties to navigating some of the most delicate and challenging homeless encampment site reclamations for Washington State Department of Transportation. He has found a unique and vital balance between focusing on people and the process. This results in strong partner and client relationships, and deep connections throughout the communities in which he manages property. He carries a deep compassion for individuals experiencing homelessness, and a strong desire to continually grow as a leader. This pushes him toward finding creative and practical solutions to help the unhoused population take steps in a positive direction, while helping to alleviate some of the pressure communities feel across the nation.
