Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport Realignment and Expansion
Pullman, WA
Client:
City of Pullman
This marquee project realigned and extended the Pullman-Moscow Airport runway to bring the airport into compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) design standards. Commonstreet’s right of way team completed critical real estate services, which included complicated relocation and property acquisitions which were led by experienced senior agents, who spent seven years on the project. Their responsibilities included extensive research to facilitate escrow closings and relocating businesses. The team also worked closely with multiple agency and design and the FAA to complete the project, which included identifying and conducting the relocation needs of a large marijuana grow operation –the first relocation of its kind in Washington - and extensive coordination with WSU/USDA to move Washington State University’s animal infectious disease facilities, farming maintenance shops, an orchard, and various agricultural field experiments.
